About samuRhi: If SAMURHI actually lived in the time of Edo in Japan in the 17th century, he would have been melting and blending metals to shape Katana Swords. He would have expressed his surroundings in the detail and care that went into crafting a weapon for a warrior. But SAMURHI was born in 1983; the year of Scarface, Return of the Jedi, and Kill 'em All. And as we stand today in 2009 his metal is more Metallica, and his expression of the world that surrounds him is crafted through the beauty and power of electronic music. His detail is painted with six string vibrations on a sound spectrum canvas. His thoughts are carried out in harmonic hooks and melodic cries. His songs were inspired by images of epic science fiction battle scenes, space travel, and spirituality. His songs take any listener through the emotional journey that we can all relate: honesty, morality, deception, loss, depression, hope and love. |
