About David Sophia Siegel: David grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, before moving out to San Francisco to play some music and start up some bands, the most recent of which is The Boneless Children Foundation, which you really should check out.
With a background in writing and theory covering almost every type of music imaginable - jazz, Tropicalia, hard rock, indie rock, bluegrass, country, tweaky, ambient, electronic, klezmer, dance, funk, reggae, etc. - David has enjoyed hurling his talents into the worlds of theater and film.
He is a big admirer of a huge variety of artists, including David Byrne, Tom Waits, Angelo Badalamenti, Mark Mothersbaugh, Kurt Weill, the Penguin Cafe Orchestra and all kinds of people. |
