About Brent Daniel: Atlanta-born singer/songwriter Brent Daniel began his musical career in the barrooms of the southeast in 1979. As guitarist for the bands Fragile and Choice, and with solo artist Derek St. Holmes, Brent spent his early years touring in support of such legendary acts as the B-52s, REM, and The Producers.
Encouraged as a writer by members of these groups, in 1984 Brent formed his own band, Shebang. Other founding members included longtime Sheryl Crow guitarist Peter Stroud and Brent’s brother Neel. Shebang’s catalog from the 1980s is currently under re-release through Eripsa Records in Seattle.
In 1990, Brent formed Talkshow with younger siblings Neel and Jon Daniel, the only musical collaboration to date featuring all three Daniel brothers. In 1991, Brent and Jon Daniel formed Circle of Fins with Mitch Flanders and Brandon Bell. COF recorded nearly one hundred tracks with Harry O'Brien in Atlanta from 1991-94, releasing some of this material through Eripsa Records on two discs under the name Brent Daniel: “Better Late” and “Thank You Goodnight.”
In 2003, Brent and Doug formed Ready Set Go, releasing two outstanding musical offerings, “Keep Moving”and “Audible Lift” through Carrot Igloo Records and CDBaby in 2003-2004.
After residing several years in California, Brent left Los Angeles in 2006, returning to his native Atlanta. With newfound inspiration, work commenced on new material that now comprises three separate volumes of songs under project name Art House Cinema.
